Gardai at Roxboro Road are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occured at approximately 9pm on the 9th June 2012.
The 2 car collision occured at Grange Cross, Tipperary Road and a number of injured persons were removed to Limerick General Hospital.
One male passenger, who has been named as Ciaran Quigley from Rearcross aged 17 years, was seriously injured in the collision and passed away yesterday Tuesday, the 12th June, 2012.
The scene was preserved and has been technically examined.
