Gardai in Santry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Millbourne Avenue, Drumcondra at approximately 1.15pm on the 13/6/12.
A woman in her late 60’s was fatally injured by her own car. She was taken to The Mater Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Millbourne Avenue is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardai wish to appeal to anyone who was on Millbourne Ave between 12.30pm and 1pm in particular near the Library and may have witnessed this incident or a Blue Ford Fiesta to contact Santry Garda Station on 01- 6664000, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line or any Garda Station.
