Gardai in Waterford are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at the Bridge on Cheekpoint Road, Waterford at approximately 1.10am on the 25/6/12.
A male in his 20’s was fatally injured when his car collided with the bridge. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Waterford Regional Hospital. He was the sole occupant of the car and no one else was injured.
The Cheekpoint Road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
