Fatal house fire at Ballybay, Monaghan on the 20/6/12

Gardaí are investigating a fatal house fire at Corvoy, Tullycorbett, Ballybay Co.Monaghan on the 20th June 2012.

A 61 year old man died as a result.  The man lived alone in the house.


The incident was discovered at 2.30 pm.  The fire was confined to the kitchen area and had extinguished itself by the time it was discovered.

 
Gardaí are treating the incident as accidental. A post mortem examination will take place tomorrow, the 21st at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.
