Fatal road traffic collision at Ballygawley, Sligo on the 12/7/12

Gardaí in Sligo are investigating a single vehicle Fatal Road Traffic Collision which occurred at Doonmarray, Ballygawley, Co Sligo at approximately 8.20pm last night (12/7/12).

A 26 year old male motorcyclist died when his motorcycle hit a ditch at the above location.  He was removed to Sligo General Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly before 10pm. No other person was involved.

 
The road is closed pending a Garda Forensic Examination and diversions are in place.
