A 35 year old man is due to appear at Carlow District Court charged in relation to an incident in Kilkenny on the morning of 10th July 2012.
The man will appear after 10.30 am this morning the 12th July.
An 86 year old woman was assaulted and robbed by a man, as she walked on College View, Walkin Street. The woman remains in St. Luke’s Hospital.
A man was arrested and detained at Kilkenny Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
