Suspicious death at Lenihan Avenue, Limerick on the 18/1/12

Gardai at Roxboro Road are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Limerick on the 18th January 2012.

At approximately 00.35 hours a 43 year old male was found with serious injuries at Lenihan Avenue.  He was taken by ambulance to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The scene is preserved pending a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
