Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Monica Riordan now have a confirmed sighting of her on Pearse Street, at the Macken Street junction, at approximately 5pm on Tuesday, 20th December 2011.
She had walked along Macken Street from under the railway bridge toward the junction with Pearse Street.
When seen Monica had the appearance of being disorientated and confused. That particular evening was wet and cold.
Again, Monica is described as being 39 years of age, shoulder length blonde hair, thin build, wearing a long grey coat (with a hood which could be up or down), dark jeans and grey / white runners.
Gardaí would like anyone who was in the Macken St / Pearse St / Grand Canal Quay area of Dublin 2 between 4.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday the 20th December 2011 and who saw any lone female fitting the description of Monica to contact Pearse St Garda Station on 01 6669000.

Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Monica Riordan, aged 39 years, from Navan, Co. Meath.
Monica was last seen in the Holles Street area of Dublin at around 11am on Tuesday, the 20/12/2011. She is described as being of average height and of thin build with shoulder length blonde hair. When last seen she was wearing a long grey coat, dark jeans and grey / white runners.
