Gardai have made three arrests as part of the investigation into the murder of Seamus McMahon on the 21st March 2010.
Two males aged in their 20's and one female aged in her late teens were arrested in the Drogheda area of Co Louth this morning (9/2/2012).
They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, at Drogheda and Dundalk Garda Stations.
This brings to seven the number of people arrested as part of this investigation.

Garda are investigating a shooting incident in Dundalk, Co.Louth on the 21st March 2010 at about 7p.m.
Two men entered a house at Bóthar Crionn, Dundalk and shot another man aged in his 40’s. The injured man has was taken to Our lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, with a suspected gunshot wound to the side. He subsequently died from his injuries.
Gardai believe the suspected offenders may have left the scene in a white Toyota Corolla hatchback. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 9388400.
