Gardai in Tullow are investigation a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred in Tullow to Castledermot road on the 2nd December 2012.
The collision occurred shortly before 4pm at Slaneyquarter on the Tullow to Castledermot road approx 2.5 miles outside Tullow. The driver(42yrs) was the sole occupant in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to a local undertakers.
The road had been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination, the road re-opened at 8pm.
