Gardai in Mullingar investigating the circumstances of a single vehicle collision outside Mullingar on the 18th August 2012 can confirm that a second male 29yrs passed away this afternoon, the 21st August 2012.
Gardai are renewing their appeal to members of the public who may have been on the Kilucan to Mullingar road between 11am and 12.45pm on the 18th August 2012 or who may have witnessed the collision or have any information to please contact Mullingar Garda Station on 044-9384000, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
The Gardai are also appealing to anyone who may have stopped at the scene of the collision and gave or offered assistance to conact them in Mullingar on the number above.

One of the men seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Mullingar today has died.
The man aged in his late 20’s was pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore late this afternoon. A full Post Mortem examination will now take place.

Gardai in Mullingar are investigating the circumstances of a single vehicle collision outside Mullingar on the 18th August 2012.
The collision occurred at approximately 12midday on the Mullingar to Killucan road approximately 5 miles outside Mullingar. The three male occupants of the car were injured in the collision, they were taken to Mullingar and Tullamore Hospital for treatment. Two are believed to be in a critical condition.
Forensic collision investigators are at scene, the road is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
