Gardai in Tullamore are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision on the R420, Tullamore to Geashill Road, at approximately 5.30pm this evening.
Four (4) males in their 20’s were fatally injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a mini bus. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The three occupants of the mini bus were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore with injuries described as not life threatening.
The R420 is currently closed outside of Tullamore pending the completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
