Fatal Road Traffic Collision at Kilcogy, Co Cavan on the 13/8/12

Gardaí at Cavan are investigating a fatal road traffic Collision which occurred at Killcogy village, Co. Cavan at approximately 12 midday today (13/8/12).

The incident occurred when a farm vehicle struck a woman (late 50's) on a public road close to the village. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital where a Post Mortem examination will take place. 
 

Forensic collision investigators are at scene. The road is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
