Gardaí at Cobh are investigating a two car fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Fota Road, Cobh at approximately 9pm last night (27/4/12).
A 19 year old female driver of one of the cars was fatally injured. Her body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place later this morning. The male driver of the other car was not injured.
The road is currently closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
