Shooting incident in Ballymun, Dublin on the 3/9/11 - Further appeal

Gardai in Ballymun investigating the fatal shooting of a 49yr old man at St. Margaret's Halting site, Ballymun on the 3rd September 2011 would like to make a further appeal to members of the public who may have seen 2 males get over the fence onto the M50 just before the Finglas exit southbound.

Witnesses who may  have seen a vehicle waiting or acting suspiciously close to the Finglas exit between 9.45pm and 10pm on the 3rd Sept to contact them in Ballymun on 01 6664400.

Gardai in Ballymun investigating  the fatal shooting of a 49yr old man at St Margaret's Halting site, Ballymun on the 3rd Sept 2011 will hold a Press briefing at Ballymun Garda Station at 11.30am this morning the 4th September 2011.

Gardai in Ballymun are investigating the circumstances of the fatal shooting of a 49yr old man at St Margaret's Halting site on the 3rd Sept 2011 .
 
The incident occurred at approx 9.50pm on the 3rd September 2011 at St Margaret's Halting site Ballymun.The seriously injured man was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
 
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination, a second scene(burnt out car) at Mayeston, St Margarets Rd, Finglas is also being preserved in relation to the incident.
