Gardaí at Sundrive Road are investigating a serious assault which occurred on the Drimnagh Luas Line platform inbound on Wednesday, the 31st August 2011.
A 19 year old man was assaulted and taken to Hospital. Investigating Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this assault and particularly a man who gave assistance to the injured youth, this man is described as being 5’ 10”, of average build with a goatee beard. He was wearing blue jeans, grey sweatshirt and white runners; he was also carrying a black bag over his shoulder.
