Gardai in Wexford town investigating the murder of 21 year old Michael Connors of Cluain Dara, Clonard, Wexford on the 8th July 2011 following an incident on the night of 29th/30th of June 2011 (Wednesday night - Thursday morning) have this morning the 14th Sept 2011 arrested 6 people.
All six (three males and three females) were arrested this morning, the 14th September 2011in Wicklow and Wexford. They range in age from 17 to 57 yrs. The six are being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended. They are being detained at New Ross (2), Wexford (2) and Enniscorthy (2) Garda Stations.

Gardai in Wexford town investigating the death of 21 year old Michael Connors of Cluain Dara, Clonard, Wexford are seeking witnesses to an incident that took place at Belevedere Grove in the town on the night of the 29th/30th June 2011(Wednesday night Thursday morning).
Following the incident Mr. Connors was taken to Wexford General Hospital and was subsequently transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he died on the 8th July 2011.
A post mortem examination was carried out on the 9th July by the Deputy State Pathologist Dr. Jabbar and showed that Mr. Connors died as a result of head injuries.
Gardai at Wexford Garda station are asking anyone who has any information about the incident to contact them. They are specifically asking residents of Belvedere Grove, Wexford or anyone who was in the area shortly before midnight on the 29th of July to contact them on 053 9165200.
