A male in his 50’s will appear at Cloverhill District Court at 10.30am this morning, the 15/9/11 further charged in connection with this shooting.

Garda are investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment in Santry, Dublin 9. The incident took place at about 10.30 p.m. on the 15th of June 2011, at The Green, Larch Hill in Santry.
Gardai responding to reports of shots being fired discovered the body of a man in the apartment. The man who is believed to be in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. The body of the man remains at the scene this morning and the area is sealed off pending a forensic technical examination.
Gardai are investigating reports of a number of men seen running from the area and would like anyone who was in the Larch Hill area of Santry last night to contact them at Santry Garda Station on 01 666 4000.
