Drugs seizure and arrests at Portarlington, Co. Laois on the 31/8/11

As part of ongoing investigations, Gardaí from Portarlington searched a house in the Rathmiles area of Portarlington, Co. Laois at approximately 11.30pm on Wednesday, the 31/8/11 and seized Cannabis Plants with an estimated street value of €400,000 (subject to analysis).

Two men (54 yrs & 34 yrs) were arrested at the scene and were detained at Portlaoise Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984. 
 

Both men are expected to appear before Nenagh District Court this morning (Friday, the 2nd September 2011).
