Drug seizure and arrests in Ashbourne, Meath on the 20/9/11

As part of an ongoing investigation detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit this afternoon searched a house at Rathlodge, Asbourne, Co. Meath.

During the course of the search cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of €800,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.

Two men aged in their 30's were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Kells Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
