Gardaí from Raheny carried out a search operation at a house in Knocklyon, Dublin 16 this morning (27/10/11) and seized counterfeit goods with an approximate value of €40,000.
The goods seized include counterfeit Apple iPods, Apple iPhones Nintento DS Games, Microsoft Office Excel and Norton Security software.
This investigation is linked to the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods via the internet through various websites.
A 33 year old man was arrested at the above address and is currently detained at Raheny Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations are continuing.
