Gardai in Pearse Street are investigating the circumstances of a robbery of a female(67yrs) on the 19th Oct 2011.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:05pm when the woman (who was in the company of her husband) was returning to her car. On Setanta Place a lone male approached from South Frederick Street. He pulled the handbag from the woman's shoulder dragging her to the ground. The suspect ran in the direction of Nassau Street. The woman was taken to hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
The male was described as being in his late teens or early 20s, 5'5" - 5'8" in height and wearing dark clothing and white runners.
