Firearm recovered and three arrests in West Dublin on the 18/10/11

As part of an ongoing investigation Gardai searched a house in the Dunsink area of West Dublin this evening.

During the search a firearm (sawn-off shotgun) and a quantity of ammunition was recovered.  A large amount of cosmetic products were also seized.
 
A woman aged in her 40's and two women aged in their 20's were arrested at the scene.
 
The woman in her 40's is detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
 
The other women are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, also at Blanhchardstown Station.
