Fatal road traffic collision in Carlow on the 3/10/11

Gardaí at Carlow are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred shortly before 7.30pm this evening, Monday 3rd October 2011, on the N80 (Tullow Road) at Kernanstown.

A 38 year old male motorcyclist was fatally injured after he was in collision with a sports utility vehicle.


The road is closed at present to facilitate a forensic collision investigation and diversions are in place. The closure is not expected to be in place for much longer.
