Fatal House Fire in Cork on the 30/10/11

Gardai in Togher are investigating a fatal house fire that occurred this morning, Sunday 30th October 2011 at Elm Park, Wilton Cork.

The fire was discovered at approximately 4a.m.

A mother (late 20’s) and her two boys (aged 4 and 2 years) were removed from the house and taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.  The 2 year old boy has since died. The mother and 4 year old boy are in a serious condition.

An examination of the scene will be carried out later today.
