Drug seizure and arrest in Tallaght, Dublin on the 13/10/11

As result of a Garda National Drugs Unit intelligence led investigation, members of the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by Gardai from the Tallaght Detective Unit stopped a van today the 13th of October 2011, at 2.15pm at Blessington Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

A search of the vehicle revealed 20,000 Dalmane tablets and 180,000 Zopiclone tablets with an estimated total street value of €440,000, subject to analysis.

 
A 42 year old Dublin man is being detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
