A 28 year old man is expected to appear before Dublin District Court this evening (23/11/11) charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Clondalkin on Monday 21/11/11.

As part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin Metropolitan Western Region Gardaí have seized drugs with an estimated street value of €750,000 this evening (21/11/11)
Gardaí from the Ronanstown / Lucan District Drugs Unit searched a house in the Clondalkin area at approximately 5pm this evening, during the course of the search heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value of €750,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.
A 28 year old man was arrested and was taken to Ronanstown Garda Station and subsequently transferred to Clondalkin Garda Station where he is being detained under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are continuing.
