Between 3.30am and 4am on the Sunday, the 20th February 2011 a man walking with three friends on College Green, Dublin 2 was attacked a group of eight to nine other males.
The injured man was knocked to the ground where he received a number blows to the head and neck, he was taken by ambulance to St. James’s Hospital. The injured man sustained injuries to his neck, a broken nose and bruising to his face. He has since been released from hospital.
Investigating Gardai are Appealing to the following to come forward:
(1). Any persons who may have witnessed the incident.
(2). A female who administered first aid to the injured man at the scene.
Three of the men involved in the incident are described as follows:
(1). 6’2”, 20 to 22 years, medium build, brown short curly/wavy hair Green/Brown waist length jacket, blue jeans and black runners.
(2). 5’6” to 5’8”, 20 to 22 years, medium build, black hair, black moustache and a few days growth of a beard, wore a navy three quarter length zipped jacket, green stripped check shirt, blue ripped jeans.
(3). 5’8” to 5’9”, 20 to 21 years, brown curly hair, medium build, wore a white long sleeved top with the wording or partial wording “Eagle Street” in blue writing, wore dark jeans.
