Gardai from Blanchardstown Detective, Drug and Task Force Units have launched an investigation following the discovery of 17 kilos of cocaine approx value €1.2million (subject analysis).
The Cocaine(subject to analysis) was discovered at approx 11am on the 16th March 2011 in a holdall bag in the rear of a 40ft container at a location in West Dublin. Gardai believe that the container only recently arrived into Ireland.
Gardai have made no arrest at this stage but investigations and forensic examinations are ongoing.
