Two men arrested by Gardai on the 10th March 2011 in Co. Meath, as part of an operation investigating the sale and supply of drugs, are expected to appear at the District Court in Dublin at 4.00 p.m. on the 12th March.
Another man in his 40's who was arrested last night, the 11th March) as part of the same operation, remains in custody at Navan Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

As part of an intelligence led operation Gardai from the Garda National Drugs Unit supported by the Organised Crime Unit, Revenue's Customs Service and local Gardai from Meath and Louth.
A search was carried out at a business premises in Slane, Co. Meath this afternoon, the 10th March 2011.
During the course of the search 100 to 150kgs of Cannabis Herb, Resin and Pollen, with an estimated street value of between €750,000 and €1million (all subject to analysis) was seized and 2 males aged 44 yrs and 42 yrs were arrested. They are both detained at Kells Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
