Gardai have this morning (24/3/11) arrested five people in relation to the ongoing investigation into the death of James Boyce.
Two females aged in their 20's and 30's, and three males, one in his 40's, and two in their late teens were arrested in the Limerick city area.
Four have been detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 and one under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
They are currently held at Garda Stations in the Limerick area.

The Post Mortem on the 71 year old man found in a house at St. Munchin’s Street has been concluded.
The results of the Post Mortem have been supplied to investigating Gardaí but are not being released for operational reasons.
This is now a Murder enquiry.
Gardaí will hold a Press Briefing at Mayorstone Garda Station at 8pm this evening, the 8/3/11.
The deceased man has been named as James Boyce, 71 years.

Gardaí at Henry Street in Limerick are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a 71 year old man in a house at St. Munchin’s Street, St. Mary’s Park, Limerick City yesterday evening, the 7th March 2011.
A Post Mortem is currently taking place at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
The scene at St. Munchin’s Street is being examined by the Garda Technical Bureau.
