Gardai in Swords are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the M1 between Junction 4 and 5 Northbound at approximately 3.30am on the 6th June 2011.
A male in his 20’s who was a back seat passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and front seat passenger were both taken to Beaumont Hospital with minor injuries and were later released.
This section of the M1 Northbound is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
