Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Templemartin, Co. Kilkenny at approximately 6.40pm this evening, the 8/6/11.
A female in her mid 60’s who was a front seat passenger in the car was fatally injured. The female driver (only other occupant ) was injured, however her injuries are not life threatening.
The link road from the Dunbell interchange onto the M9 is currently closed pending the completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.
