Garda at Bandon are appealing for witnesses following fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Gurranes, Innishannon, Co. Cork (Kilumney to Crossbarry Road) on the 28th June 2011.
At approximately 20.30hours a 31 year old man was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a motor car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the motor car was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
The road remains closed to traffic pending a technical examination and diversions are in place.
