Fatal road traffic collision at Blessington, Co.Wicklow

Garda are investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the N81 at Hempstown, Blessington, Co.Wicklow. The two car crash occurred at about 8.30 pm on the 21st June 2011.

A 41 year old man, the driver of one of the cars, was fatally injured in the collision.  The man was pronounced dead at Naas General Hospital.  The driver of the other car a man in his 20s was taken to Naas General suffering from minor injuries.

 

The roadway at the scene of the crash has re-opened following an examination of the scene by Garda forensic collision investigators.
