Gardaí at Ashbourne are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N2 Primatestown, approx 2 miles north of Ashbourne which has resulted in the death of a 22 year old female.
The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was discovered at approximately 10am this morning (27th June 2011). It appears the accident occurred sometime during the early hours of this morning
The deceased has been removed to the Morgue in Navan for a Post Mortem examination. The road is currently closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
