Gardai in Cork City are investigating a serious assault which occurred at Green Street, Cork City, (off Barrack Street) on the night of 19th July 2011.
As a result of this assault a 21 year old male sustained serious facial injuries which required surgery. The injured man remains in Hospital.
Gardai would like to speak with any person who may have been in the Green Street area of Cork City between 11pm and 12 mid-night on 19/7/11 and who may have witnessed an altercation in the vicinity of Greenmount School or anyone who may have any information relating to the assault to contact them in Anglesea Street on 021-4522000, the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
