Fatal road traffic collision at Clonroche, Wexford on the 1/7/11

Gardai at Clonroche are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured this morning 1st July, 2011 at approximately 10.45 am on the Main Street, Clonroche, Wexford.

A young boy (7 yrs) was fatally injured when he was struck by a Jeep.  He was removed to Wexford General Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
 
Forensic Collision Investigators have examined the scene and the road is now re-opened.
