Gardai have seized a large quantity of Cannabis plants and arrested 2 males following a search operation in Dublin on the 29/1/2011.
As part of an ongoing investigation Gardai from the Bridewell Garda Station carried out a search of a commercial premises in the Drumcondra area of Dublin this afternoon.
During the course of the search approximately 1000 Cannabis plants with estimated street value of €500,000, subject to analysis, were seized.
Two males aged in their 30s were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996, at the Bridewell Garda Station where they can be held for up to seven days.
