Drug seizure and arrests in North Dublin City on the 20/1/11

As part of an on-going investigation carried out by members of the Crime Task Force attached to the Bridewell Garda Station (Dublin) a search was carried out of an apartment in the North inner city at approximately 7.30pm on Thursday, the 20th January 2011.

During the course of the search Cannabis Herb with a street value of €200,000 (Subject to analysis) was seized. 

A 33 year old man was arrested and is currently detained at the Bridewell Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Investigations are continuing.
