Fatal road traffic collision at Rush, Dublin on the 20/2/11

Gardai in Rush are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the Skerries Road in Rush shortly after midnight on 20th February 2011.

A 51 year old man was taken to Beaumont Hospital and pronounced dead after the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall.

The road is currently closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place locally.
