Fatal road traffic collision at Ballysimon, Limerick on the 20/2/11

Gardai in Limerick are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon,Co. Limerick at approx 1.30 p.m. on the 20th February 2011.

The incident occurred when a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20’s. There were no other injuries in the incident.

The road is currently closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carry out technical examinations in the area, diversions are in place.
