Drug seizure North Co. Dublin – 26.2.2011

As part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs Gardai have seized Cannabis Resin and arrested a male aged in his 40s.

In an intelligence led operation members of the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Units searched premises in the North Co. Dublin area earlier this evening. During the search Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of €900,000 (subject to analysis) was recovered.

A man arrested during the operation is currently detained at Ashbourne Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996.
