The 21 year old being detained at Tallaght Garda station (see previous release below) is due to appear in Tallaght District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning - 18th February 2011.
The investigation was conducted by uniform members from Tallaght assisted by the Tallaght Drugs Unit and the Garda National Drugs Unit.

As the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs a house was searched on Suncroft Drive, Tallaght, Dublin 24 this morning.
The investigation was conducted by the Tallaght Drugs Unit assisted by the Garda National Drugs Unit.
In the course of the search heroin with a street value €500,000 was seized - subject to analysis.
A 21 year old male was arrested at scene and is presently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
