Gardai in Kilmainham are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident in Bluebell on the 6th December 2011 in which two men (mid 40's and the other in his 20's) were injured.
The incident occurred at approx 11.15pm on the 6th December 2011 on Huband Road, Bluebell Estate, Dublin 12. The two injured men were shot in a house on Huband Road. They were taken to St James Hospital for treatment. The house was sealed off for a technical examination.
Shortly afterwards 3 males (17, 31 and 33 yrs) were arrested and are being detained under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended at Kevin Street, Kilmainham and Pearse Street Garda Stations.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious or unusual activity in the vicinity of Huband Road before of after the shooting or may have information in relation to the incident to contact them in Kilmainham Garda station on 01 666 9700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
