Gardai at Celbridge Garda Station are seeking witnesses to a shooting incident in the town yesterday evening the 27th of December 2011.
The incident took place outside a house on Oldtown Road, Celbridge (opposite Scoil Na Mainistreach) at about 11.00 pm. A 36 year old Polish national was shot in the leg as he left his home. Gardai believe a shotgun was used in the incident.
The injured man was removed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown and a Garda investigation is under way.
