Gardai in Watercourse Road are investigating the deaths of two men at a residence in Rockgrove Terrace, Cork which occured at approximately 1p.m. on Sunday 25th December, 2011.
Gardai were first alerted to the incident when a 33 year old man was pronounced dead at Rockgrove Terrace and removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will be performed at a later stage. The second man, aged 32 years was removed from Rockgrove Terrace to Mercy Hospital at 8 p.m. on 25th December, 2011 in a critical condition and passed away in the early hours of this morning 26th December, 2011.
Gardai are appealling for witnesses who may have been present in Rockgrove Terrace either on 24th and/or 25th December, to come forward with any information and to contact gardai at Watercourse Road on 021 - 4558260. Any persons who were present at this gathering are asked to seek medical attention.
