Charges in relation to allegations of deception and theft from financial institutions

A male in his 40's is due to appear before the Courts Of Criminal Justice this afternoon (9/12/11) charged in connection with allegations of deception and theft.

As part of the ongoing investigation by Gardai from the GBFI concerning allegations of deception and theft from several financial institutions and individuals.

Gardai have this morning arrested a male in his 40’s in the Dublin area.

He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended at Irishtown Garda Station.
