Ongoing Garda Operation in Cork - Arrests

As part of an ongoing Garda Operation, Gardai in Anglesea Street, Cork assisted by Regional and Divisional Units including the Regional Response Unit, Dogs Units and supported by the Criminal Assets Bureau, searched a number of premises on Saturday, the 2nd April 2011 in Cork county and city.

As part of this operation substantial quantities of cash were seized and two people were arrested, both in their 40’s.<_o3a_p>

They are being detained in Bandon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996
