Firearm recovered and man arrested in Tralee, Co. Kerry on the 5th April 2011

As part of a planned operation Gardaí carried out a search of a house in the Tralee area. During the course of the search a firearm was recovered (sawn off shot gun).

A man aged in his 20's was arrested and is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Tralee Garda Station.
